Couple of minor issues - Sharepoint 2008
Just completed a full crawl.
1 - Query results do not show any icons. Item Icon - URL showing servername not path to icons.
2 - when you click on the result link it does not pull up the data it is refering to. but the path is there.
I am doing this on the fly and it is an emergency. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can we export/copy all data from specific results for collection?
Thank you - SJMP

Hi SJMP,
I assume that you were using SharePoint server 2007. Which kind of document did your search? PDF or others?
If it is a PDF document, this issue may occur either if the Adobe PDF IFilter is not configured correctly on the server, or if SharePoint Server 2007 is not configured
correctly to index the .pdf file type. For the resolution, please refer to the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832809
In addition, please check if the Docicon.xml exists. (SharePoint Server 2007- Drive:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\Template\XML).
If not, please repair your SharePoint server 2007.
Finally, please look into the crawl log to find more clues.
Hope this helps.
